Shizuku admitted she was taken aback by their reaction. The enthusiasm they expressed truly made her happy. She was surprised especially when Muta instantaneously asked if they were invited. “Of course, you all are invited,” she answered happily. “I’d be very honored if you all could come.” She blushed at Haru’s comment and chuckled. “Yes it is quite exciting. At first, I didn’t really know what to say, but my headed nodded yes on it’s own to his proposal. Oh, and thank you very much Baron and Muta. If it weren’t for you two, I don’t think our relationship would have even started.”
Toto’s remark made Shizuku burst out in a whole hearted laugh. That is, until she realized his question was somewhat confusing itself. “Um..is there a difference?” she asked. “Either way he is both a violin maker and my fiancé.”
“You’re quite welcome, Shizuku,” Baron replied, looking rather pleased with himself. Muta, on the other hand, ducked away in embarrassment and scratched his ear.
“Oh, I, me?” Haru stuttered, blinking in surprise. “Well, I guess I could come and keep the Cat Bureau with me. Will you tell Seiji about Baron?” she asked, wringing her hands. She was unsure if Baron wanted to be seen again. Could she pretend she had bought him? Would Baron mind that?
It was a rather awkward situation, Shizuku had to admit to herself. But, it should also be a joyous one. She laughed at Muta’s expression. Surely, she never expected the aloof cat to be a rather colorful character. Turning to Haru, she replied, “Hmm…That’s probably the best thing to do, actually. I’m sure I could tell Seiji. Is that okay with you Baron? If not, we could come up with a situation right?” That was indeed a very difficult question to answer. She wanted Seiji to know that Baron was alright and well, but she didn’t know if it would make Baron uncomfortable.
Disappear? From the face of the Earth? How ominous… Shizuku took one look at the boy’s determined face and she knew he wasn’t lying. The whole situation made her very uncomfortable, but she knew she had to eat if she wanted any chance of going home. Reaching out a hand, she took the berry looking food and placed it in her mouth. It was surprisingly very sweet and juicy for such a small berry. Sure enough, her body began to solidify again. It was a very strange feeling almost as if she had pinpricks starting from her toes and then traveled up to her head. ”I feel so stiff,” she muttered trying to stretch out her arms and legs again. ”Is this world really as bad as you say it is?” she questioned the boy. ”Oh wait first, what’s your name? You’ve been helping me and I don’t even know your name.” She chuckled nervously, “I’m Shizuku by the way.”
“See?There you go.” A small smile forms on the boy’s lips.It wasn’t that bad for sure.”Not everyone is bad here Shizuku.”Kohaku explains while staring at the lively area around him.Spirits are everywhere and it’s not typical for a certain dragon boy who used to work for a witch that runs a bath house.” Especially myself,I’m a friend.” Kohaku assures the other while acknowledging her friendly introduction. He is strongly reminded of Chihiro, the girl that helped him out before.”Quick,we need to go to Zeniba’s place first.”
Shizuku sighed feeling like she was competely back to normal. She didn’t look the boy in the eye when she muttered, “Yeah…I guess you’re right.” Struggling slightly and leaning on a nearby rock for some support, she stood up and shook out her prickly feeling legs. Movement in her peripheral vision alerted her to how busy their surroundings were. So many different spirits that she’s never seen before floated off the boat and on the stone steps. Oddly enough, she felt quite calm. Maybe her fairy tale mind was used to such weird things that seeing them in real life didn’t bother her. Shizuku looked up when Haku said something. “Okay,” she agreed. Why do I feel so calm?

Shizuku waved back with a smile. She made sure to take note of the hat shop Sophie walked towards. Surely, they would meet up again, after all, both of them had an interest in hats. —-The End—-
